Description
POLAIRE is a very soft and very warm yarn, made from a blend of 50% wool and 50% Baby Alpaca fibres. The latter come from selected farms in the Andean altiplano, Peru and Bolivia.
POLAIRE is a medium-weight yarn with a remarkably soft feel thanks to the qualities of the intimate blend of these two exceptional fibres. It is made up of 3 thin, slightly twisted strands and is knitted with # 4.5 needles. POLAIRE is the little brother of POLE. POLAIRE colors are the classic shades typical of Fonty's color charts. The alpaca, which gives this yarn its extreme softness, requires hand washing, if possible with organic natural soap, without spinning, followed by drying flat.
POLAIRE is also available as 100g undyed, untreated, not degreased, ready-to-dye skeins within the yarn quality POLAIRE prêt-à-teindre.
