This color chart presents the full up-to-date color range of the yarnNIMBUS.
The NIMBUS yarn is a magnificent combed yarn made from the mixture of two extraordinary 100% merino fibres : Arles Merino (Mérinos d'Arles), fleece from a breed of sheep raised in the french Mediterranean plains of Camargue and the Crau, and the Merino from Portugal, from farms in the Alentejo in southern Portugal, both already used in the range FADO.
An initial mottled mixture (ecru and brown) is then dyed in our workshops. Thanks to this process, the NIMBUS color chart is characterized by a range of more than 20 mottled colors, tone on gray, with a deep, cloudy and milky density. NIMBUS is a 4-ply yarn, soft, elegant and subtle, full of character, and very pleasant to knit with needles # 3 or 3.5. NIMBUS can be washed by hand with or without softener, without spinning and preferably with a flat drying.
