This color chart presents the full up-to-date color range of the yarn KIDOPALE.
KIDOPALE is a mohair yarn that belongs to the OMBELLE - MOUSTACHE - KIDOPALE - BLING-BLING. It is carried out by assembling 70% of mohair fibres with a linking strand ("soul of the thread") in polyamide, essential for its resistance. Mohair fibre, which brings its vaporous, blurred and swelling side, is the fleece of this particular breed of goats of Caucasian origin, mainly raised on the highlands of South Africa, even if breeding High quality have been developing in France for several years. The linking thread is added to confer its resistance and elasticity in the wire while used to make the curls.
KIDOPALE can be knitted alone, in double thread, or mixed with other yarns to obtain subtle assemblies associating the visual effect of the Mohair with for example the sweetness, the thickness or the swelling of others wool. The range of colors is wide, mixing lively tones with more neutral tones. KIDOPALE, knitted alone, is recommended for needles # 2 to 2.5. This yarn is preferably washed by hand, with soft soap (Marseille soap, if possible organic), without spin, with flat drying.
