Description

CYCLADE prêt-à-teindre ("ready-to-dye") is an ecological yarn made from recycled natural wool fibres. Knitted items are collected, sorted by material and color. For CYCLADE prêt-à-teindre, only light-coloured natural wool products are selected. Then they are shredded, and from the obtained fibres a new thread is created. In this process, an involuntary error during sorting remains possible, which is why Fonty guarantees a minimum of 95% natural wool.

The CYCLADE prêt-à-teindre yarn, made up of 4 strands, is flexible , soft and bouncy, with a remarkable feel, and a slightly fuzzy, almost mottled appearance. It is knitted with # 3.5 needles. The CYCLADE yarn also exists in a dyed version, in a 50g ball, in the CYCLADE range. CYCLADE prêt-à-teindre should preferably be washed by hand, without spinning, drying flat.

The 100g yarn skein of CYCLADE prêt-à-teindre is proposed non-degreased, non-softened, non-vaporized. If you would like those processings to be carried out in addition, please contact us.
