The COEUR D'ANGORA prêt-à-teindre ("ready-to-dye") yarn is made of 80% French Angora rabbit hair and 20% merino sheep fleece. Fonty selects Angora rabbit hair from the last traditional French breeders. They have all adhered to the "Association of French Angora breeders" charter which defines good practices to guarantee animal welfare and the quality of the fleece.

The combination of these two exceptional fibres (angora, merino), and the singular manufacturing process that is applied (in particular for the crucial fluffing step), makes it possible to obtain an incredibly flexible, soft, vaporous, delicate and swelling.

COEUR D'ANGORA prêt-à-teindre is an assembly of 2 strands, which is knitted classically with needles # 4 to 4.5. COEUR D'ANGORA prêt-à-teindre also exists in a 25g dyed ball, in the range COEUR D'ANGORA. The COEUR D'ANGORA prêt-à-teindre yarn should be washed by hand, preferably with organic soap, and dried flat.
