BAMBOU prêt-à-teindre ("ready-to-dye") is a vegetal yarn made of bamboo viscose, a recomposed fibre obtained from plant cellulose. Fonty sources bamboo fibre in Portugal. Besides the proximity of this supply, the ecological advantage lies in the fact that this plant produces cellulose very quickly.

BAMBOU prêt-à-teindre is the result of a double twist applied to a very fine initial strand. It is knitted with # 3 to 3.5 needles.

It is a silky yarn, very light, pleasant to knit, ideal for summer projects. BAMBOU prêt-à-teindre is the same yarn as the BAMBOU yarn, which is offered in 50g balls , in a range of colors inspired by the joyful hues of the fruit and harvest season. Like all cellulose yarns, BAMBOU prêt-à-teindre is very easy to machine wash (30/40° cotton program) and dries very quickly, without ironing.
