Description
The baby alpaca fibres used for this yarn come from selected farms in the Andean altiplano, Peru and Bolivia.
For this ALPAGA yarn with an exceptional touch, characterized by its softness and warm side, Fonty has created a range of delicate and original colours. ALPACA yarn is knitted with needles # 3 to 3.5.
ALPAGA yarn also exists in ALPAGA NAT, which is an untreated version and without dyeing of the same yarn, available in several natural colors of the fleeces.
As with all wool spun from alpaca fibres, your works should be washed by hand, in cold water , without rubbing, preferably with an organic Marseille soap flakes. It is also recommended to rinse with clear, cold water, and to dry flat.
ALPAGA is also available as 100g undyed, untreated, not degreased, ready-to-dye skeins within the yarn quality ALPAGA NAT prêt-à-teindre.
